Lyrics

Stolen from this Earth

A Lament for Bradford Dickerson and Ivy Bowler

Crazy Wild Child                              with a wide, winning smile
Embracing all life gives him,            making every moment count
Anchored by a love                         like a kite high above
A gentle gracious beauty plants his feet on the ground

Chorus

They were perfect puzzle pieces together,  Carved out from their families’ deep care
Trusting in their love for each other and God,  Hopes and dreams were lovingly shared
Big hopes surely their future would bear.

Then like a shooting star                streaking northern skies
Seconds in the balance                 forced darkness to our eyes
A soulmate lover’s touch                a family’s precious son
Stolen from this earth before his plans were all done.

Chorus

They were perfect puzzle pieces together,  Carved out from their families’ deep care
Trusting in their love for each other and God,  Hopes and dreams were lovingly shared
Big hopes surely their future would bear.

Many hearts were touched, by his willing helping hand
Now we will wait for heavens gates   to see him again……

Chorus

They were perfect puzzle pieces together,
Carved out from their families’ deep care
Trusting in their love for each other and God,
Hopes and dreams were lovingly shared
Hopes and dreams were lovingly shared

Big memories now are all we can carry
Sweet memories are the love we can share.

Crazy wild child, with a wide winning smile …... We love you, Brad.
